GST – Positive Vibrations – GST Draft Bill made available

In the press meet after the meeting of the Empowered Committee of State Finance Ministers on July 14, 2016, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley stated that all States except Tamil Nadu have expressed support. He added that Tamil Nadu which has expressed some concerns which were taken note of.

The news of broad consensus in the meeting of the Empowered Committee of State Finance Ministers raises hopes of passage of the Constitution Amendment Bill in the Rajya Sabha.
