GST Bill moved in Rajya Sabha
Amid chaos Finance Minister Arun Jaitley moved the GST Constitution Amendment bill in the Rajya Sabha on 11/08/2015, incorporating recommendations made by the Select Committee. Due to the ruckus, the House was adjourned thereafter.

It is sad that Economic Reforms and other burning issues that are to be discussed in Parliament are ignored and petty Politics takes centre stage.
With just two days left in the present Monsoon Session, let us hope that the parliamentarians realize the economic cost of the logjam and get back to work.
